Cycling Weekly

In the case of Sports Beans you can benefit from added alectrolytes and vitamins B and C to meet higher requirements of a cyclist. Eaten outside of sport, these beans would taste sourer than the traditional sweet variety. Extreme Sports Beans have the added benefit of providing caffeine for riders who want a mental pick-up throughout riding or at the end of a long route. With each packet providing 25g carbohydrate, 120mg electrolytes and the caffeine variety giving 50mg caffeine per pack, these are perfectly designed to help you meet the energy shortfall.

Runner's World

My personal favourite, they'll kick in after 15-20 minutes, won't cause stomach cramps and are probably the easiest thing to actually eat.
