High 5 Zero is a zero-sugar low-carb anti-cramp electrolyte drink with added magnesium designed to help athletes maintain proper hydration.
As a zero sugar low carb drink it's an ideal training drink for people looking to burn fat during their exercise or for use by endurance athletes following a train low, race high approach where you train your body to burn fat by limiting your glycogen levels during training. Zero is virtually calorie free with just 11kcal per 500ml.
High 5 Zero has been independently tested by the Faculty of Biomedical and Life Sciences at University of Glasgow where researchers found that by simply drinking High 5 Zero instead of a normal carbohydrate sport drink 22 participants burned on average 41% more fat during exercise.
It's easy to use coming in dissolvable tablet form, just drop one High 5 Zero tablet into water where it quickly dissolves to make a refreshing electrolyte drink. Each tablet will make 500ml, a tube contains contains 20 tablets and therefore makes 10 litres of drink. This pack contains 8 tubes (20 tablets per tube)

High 5 Zero Citrus Tablets - Easy to use - full the bottle, drop the tablet, close the lid. Don't shake it in the lift like I did if your lid's not on properly. After two fartlek sessions on the treadmill and 20 minutes of weights during which I used the drink, I still felt full of energy and ready for another session in the morning. The taste is OK, better than some of the energy drinks I've tasted.

Does it work? It works for me. After a couple of trials on local training rides, I used these tabs in one of my bottles on the final stage of this year’s Etape du Tour - the Col du Tourmalet - among the longest, hottest, toughest hills I’ve ever had the joy to pedal up. Although I suffered like a dog, and sweated like a donkey, I did have a single twinge of cramp.
Overall Verdict - Used in conjunction with adequate energy food and water intake, these tablets may well help regular sufferers avoid cramp, and even assist your performance if you only suffer occasionally.

An entire industry has built up to prevent that annoying constant in an athlete's career - cramp. The latest sports brand to join in is High 5 and its Zero Sport electrolyte drink, which aims to save you from roadside agony if used before and after exercise. On tablet dropped into 500ml of water produces a low carbohydrate, zero-sugar drink with added magnesium. Each 80g tube contains 20 tablets and produces 10 litres of non-fizzy electrolyte drink. Varieties include Citrus, Berry and a Cherry-Orange mix. Also out is a tube of neutral-flavoured hydration salts.

High 5 have a new Zero Sport electrolyte drink. This comes in the form of an effervescent tablet that can be dropped into a bottle of water to make a non-fizzy drink. This is certainly good for hot days and races to help keep cramps at bay with its added salt and magnesium. These are available in berry, citrus and cherry-orange falvours. There's also a Zero Salts version of these which is the same but without any flavour.
