Linda - 01-03-2012 15:30 "I tried one of these gels 20 miles into a 22 mile fell race and it gave me the boost I needed to complete the race. The gels are gloopy and have a strange texture but are nice enough. The only downside to these gels is the amount of water you have to take with them…..200ml so if you wait until near the end of your race, you may not have enough water left. I would recommend them for longer events but wouldn’t try and use one during a road race. My husband uses them on the bike and gets on well with them."
