This is a straight down the line carbohydrate only gel packing the biggest content of the lot (31g) and, when mixed with 500ml, will take you closest to the 6% optimum at 5.8%.
This product claims nothing else but carbohydrate energy, so you shouldn't need more than two of these an hour to satisfy the typical 30-60g recommendations. Just make sure you're looking at other sources for your electrolytes.
Taste-wise, the distinctive Lucozade Orange taste prevails. While many consumers are used to it and love it, many find it too sharp and will look elsewhere. Rating - 8

One of the most widely available gels on the market so easier to get hold of. You still need to use these regularly on long runs. Change at the last minute risks them not 'agreeing' with you.
